"real consenting mistresses are the absolute scum of the Earth. This kind of prudishness quickly becomes irritating. "

Walken was hardly a "huge role" central to an episode though (unless there's some latter day episode where he saves Bart from a child slavery ring or something that I missed.)

Pick up a 2DS then, there are some really great games on the system.

Most schools here still have them for the same reason. Football/minisoccer

I swear the YOU MAY LIKE chunk just kept getting bigger.

geez avclub, you just keep getting more obnoxious with the stories from the web you may like. I usually try to give sites I like a few ad clicks now and again but full on ADBlock for you now.

Yeah, bring in some thrilling adventure hour zaniness too.

I enjoyed her on Never Mind the Buzzcocks in the UK the couple times she's been on as well.

I would love PFT, his Speakeasy interview show is often quite good… he should do a comedy central version where he and the guests just drink and talk.

I will never, ever stop using THRILLHO as a bowling name.

Just got back from Mexico and watched this. Thanks for your great coverage Les, it'll be a pity if the show's not back next year but it seems likely that if it does we've seen the end of tv club coverage in any case. Here's hoping regardless!

Finally got to watch this episode and yeah definitely felt like a retread, but at least a friendly one. I'm holding out hope that Busy's right and we're getting another season. Her comments about not getting to do pilots seem hopeful at least.

Ugh, Mrs. Landingham. If I had I could go back in time I'd watch 18th and Potomac and Two Cathedrals for the first time again.

Free Floating or Low Earth Orbit?

Fair enough.

I know but random doesn't need to mean half the interview on bit parts and gimmick appearances. :( Don't get me wrong, not trashing it in anyway it just sucks to see WWE mentioned over something that most people might have seen. (And that's coming from someone who does occasionally watch wrestling for shits and

I don't think it's really pandering as much as the director/Piven aiming for the pompous self made man aura HGS was supposed to have and overshooting a bit. I think he's quite good in the show in the moments where the character has been knocked off his pedestal a bit and hopefully that'll continue in the new season.

I can imagine, but Black Hawk Down, Wrestling and Rush Hour 2 instead of Gross Point Blank or Ellen or something makes me sad.

Great RR, he's always seemed like kind of an interesting guy. Quick fix though, it's Christa Miller Will, not Krista.
