Yeah pretty much everything he writes is scathing criticism in one way or another. That said I really love Dead Set and Black Mirror.

Yeah, she might have seemed cartoonish to you but she was the spitting image of one of my grandmothers in her last 10 years. Hell Sophia was tame by comparison. One of my most embarrassing childhood moments was her hitting on my scoutmaster.

So Paul Revere's midnight ride was a Canadian co-production?

Peralta's 'oh my god' facial expression at seductive Holt too… that whole sequence was amazing.

I thought the animation in this ep was particularly gorgeous. Everything from the jeep fall to the facial expressions during the various "TRUTH" conversations. Super great job all around.

I knew something like this was coming towards the end of the season but damned if it didn't still hit me like a ton of bricks. Jenkins is so great and him and cox really have their dynamic nailed.

Yeah Frank TJ Mackey was the first thing that sprang to mind for me too.

Unfortunately it doesn't air til Wednesday nights here so I never get to comment right away.

It's been a while since I've seen the movie but I definitely remember increasingly hating the Julie character as it went on. She just kept coming off as more and more of an insufferable bitch to her boyfriend/husband as she dealt with her insecurities yet the movie seemed to still be trying to shove her down our

at least they backtracked on that a bit.

I really don't get how you get "mean-spirited" out of The Incredibles… Yes it's absolutely more adult themed than some of the others, but that's in the vein of the films/genres it's an homage to.

I really recommend it, not just because Newsradio is fantastic (it is) but because the reviews made me rewatch the entire series every summer they were posted.

I too will miss these reviews, it has always been fun to come into work Tuesday morning and check out what Donna and everyone thought. I always love your insights Donna and seeing things I might have missed.

Her glee at the escalating tom/jules nonsense filled me with joy. I may or may not be the kind of person who would do exactly the same thing. ;)

The maps on the intro screens appear to place them in roughly the same vicinity at least.

That's not really a lack of understanding of the basics of sci fi so much as a lack of a real world word to use there. If you're not being pedantic you can easily see what he's saying.

I really really loved the bag strut, Bobby was just so into it in that moment and it felt nice to see him have a positive moment for a change. Loved the cold open too.

To be fair Winnipeg was just taking back a team. I'm sure the coyotes will be ready to move somewhere else after this latest ownership group fails.

I gues with SIMSSSSSS gone we're going without a review again this week?

Yeah Network is fantastic but no doubt hit too close to home for some.
