Haven’t seen His House yet, but if the other 3 films in that header are the best 2020 has to offer... Ooof. Invisible Man and She Dies Tomorrow are perfectly fine, but they’re not horror. Gretel and Hansel has some very good shots and a great witch, but still manages to be boring af.

As a UKer, it’s a nice surprise to see Eastenders pop up in a Random Roles. But no love for Our Friends in the North from 1996? Not only was it an amazing series but the four friends it follows over 30 years were played by Strong, Gina McKee, Christopher Eccleston and Daniel Craig. That’s a hell of a core ensemble.

He mostly calls her Johanna.  Mostly.
