I have the Yi 4K, and I rarely shoot 4k on it. The 1080p looks fantastic and is so much easier to work with.

Probably not any 3rd party yet, but Xiaomi moves enough stuff that’s it’s pretty much guaranteed there will be 3rd party cases available soon.
I would bet that the official waterproof cases would be out already, but they aren’t always reasonably priced (for Chinese gear).
