Emoji lady is doing a lot of the heavy lifting enthusiasm wise tonight.

This show gets a lot of leeway in terms of realism, but pretty much everything about Lip (and now Kev)'s college experience borders on cartoonish.

It's subtle, but I've been enjoying their relationship too. I loved the little smile Fiona gave when Mickey referred to Ian as his boyfriend at the hospital last week (or maybe the week before).

Throw in Maron as the curmudgeon throwing out sass from the sidelines and I'm sold.

I'm really excited to hear what he brings to the table. He's one of the smartest and wittiest rappers in the game (and fun as all hell live), and I've always wanted him to be seen as Canada's defacto hip-hop ambassador instead of Drake, so this is a huge up for his career.

Well, I'll be honest, I had to go back and check first just to make sure…maybe I wasn't paying attention.

That wasn't Leslie Jones. Not nearly enough yelling.

Maybe I'm too straight for this shit, but they seem fine to me. They obviously have a lot of baggage to deal with, but I don't think its completely inevitable they're going to crash and burn. And I like them together.

You may want to revisit that psych ward.

…what year do you think it is?

Uh, Toronto is a bigger city then all but 2 in the US, has a huge music scene, and there's plenty of travel between there and NYC. Why is that so perplexing?

I keep thinking back to Louis CK's bit at the 40th special about how the prerecorded stuff is better and they should just get rid of the live stuff. I kind of agree with him, and I don't think he was really joking either.

Icky!

The use of 'gross' in the article was completely unnecessary and unimaginative though. It's another word that's become way overused and makes me roll my eyes (we shouldn't be infantalizing this kind of discourse), but when its used to describe creepy behaviour or anything negative with a sexual connotation, at least

I was wondering the same thing. Sure as hell holds up for me.

I'd recommend the album 'Be' by Common if you want to see what he's capable of as a behind the scenes guy without the ego. Assuming you're into hip-hop…even if you're not its still very accessible.

I've been enjoying it as a nightcap after Broad City and Sunny. It's a fun concept executed really well for the most part.

There's tons of great Canadian music, the Polaris Prize is always stacked with good stuff, and Montreal/Toronto's indie scenes have been building a lot of further reaching cred lately. Montreal especially is a great place to live as an up and coming artist, almost as hip as Brooklyn, and you can actually afford to

Yeah. just most of them.

It's been quite a while, but was that the same season with Nate's missing wife and her brother committing suicide in front of him? I remember pretty much laughing at how ridiculously absurb and soap-opery that finale was, but I feel like they reigned it back in after that.
