I might be making this up, but I'm pretty sure Edie Falco alluded on WTF that she was filming something with him currently.

It's a recurring riff. The actual solo is a guitar.
Kyle Kinane was the MVP for me.
The songwriting is great, but the production is pretty whack (did they just discover how to pitch shift voices?). I was excited to hear Little of Your Love after the SNL performance, but that was not nearly as good.
I get that this show doesn't really need to exist, but I enjoyed it too.
I remember when their existence went viral a couple years ago, I checked out their album on bandcamp and it was absolutely dreadful. This is a little bit better than I remember, but still. Cash in while you can I guess.
See I thought the Italian kid totally crushed, he was hilarious.
From what I've heard that's exactly the case.
Suprisingly, reddit was actually the best place to read about this. The r/indieheads sub was pretty much the only place that picked it up and the comments were mostly insightful and non-garbage, with stupid name puns at a minimum.
Nnamdi is a person, and he's dope as hell. Was equally excited to see him open for them next week, but I'm gonna assume they're dead in the water now (and this has blown up to the point that I don't think I'd be comfortable going even if it wasn't cancelled).
Damn…I'm supposed to see them live in two weeks. Still totally want to go and hope it isn't cancelled, but this isn't a great situation and could be hard to ignore.
From what I understood, he had an extremely rare form of pancreatic cancer that actually wasn't a death sentence, and could've been cured with proper treatment.
His recipe videos on youtube that are just him in his kitchen at home are all great (at least the ones I've made) and very accessible and unintimidating for amateur cooks.
Pete Holmes still puts out some solid episodes. I find he's mellowed a little and is less excitable and annoying compared to 3-4 years ago, which is nice.
He did a radio session recently where his keyboard player had a solo and showed off some genuine jazz chops…don't think it made it onto the album though.
Hey Franklin, guess what!
I don't remember the specifics, but there was a line where she mentioned being I believe 7 years old in the early '80s (pretty sure with the exact year).
I'd never heard of them before, but my ears perked up as soon I heard that riff. They have so much material that not all of it is good, but the good stuff is really good. I'm hoping to see them live soon, John Dwyer is a beast.
It introduced me to Thee Oh Sees though, so I have a soft spot for it.
I know what you mean, although I'm pretty sure his "thing" his genuine and not an act, at least. He's on WTF on Thursday, I'm curious to hear it.
