Whenever I read about this stuff, I can’t help but wonder if there would be any way to keep a running tally of the number of chronic pain patients who have died because their doctors have decided to forcibly stop all pain management, and refuse to prescribe painkillers under any circumstances.

“This is clearly a false flag operation, and the guy shot himself twice to make our heroic ICE agents look like the bad guys. He’s been deported more than once, and has been charged with abuse before, so clearly officers were in their right to shoot without provocation even without IDing him or knowing his criminal

I saw this on Thursday at a special ‘fan event’ opening, where they were giving out free keychains for attendees. The theatre was less than 1/4 full, and I wound up with basically four whole rows to myself. My ticket was free, and I still think I overpaid. To say the movie was underwhelming is an understatement.

And that’s my  complaint. That because of all this shit, actually treating chronic pain is becoming impossible, and forcing people to try and handle matters themselves.  There has to be some kind of middle ground here.

Yeah, ‘addiction’, because absolutely nobody lives with constant pain that docs refuse to treat.

Great. Just what the chronic pain community needs, yet more excuses for doctors to refuse treatment. Wonder how many will feel they have no choice but to turn to street drugs, even if it’s risking their life? I know I would in a heartbeat, if I had access to the stuff.

It comes with the arcade games, and the lovely fully-stocked bars and wine room? Oh yeah, I’d definitely live there. The big downside for me would be the @#$%ing stairs. (Mobility issues.)

La Fin du Monde?

Personally, I love pineapple on pizza. That said, whenever this debate flares up among friends, I let them know about one of my sister’s exes. He loved seafood on pizza, and we’re not talking anchovies. Clams, oysters, shrimp, etc. With monsters like that in the world, surely pineapple and anti-pineapple folks can

<GASP> Not fairness!! How dare people people believe that the rich aren’t intrinsically better than they are! Don’t they know capitalism means allowing the ultra-rich to warp the laws of this great country for their own benefit? They just don’t understand how difficult life is when you earn tens of thousands per day.

Maybe she’d use it if we start calling chorizo ‘freedom sausage’?

It’d be interesting to see stats on the number of Prides in Canada which include police, the makeup of their boards, paid vs unpaid, etc. But with stuff like this happening in Toronto, I can easily see why there was such a push to get the police excluded from the event.

So, how’s that ‘War on Opioids’ going? Considering the amount of hell the gov’t and docs are putting chronic pain patients through, it’s gotta have significantly reduced opiate-related deaths, right? I mean surely putting those who live in constant physical pain through all kinds of shit has to have cut the number of

Does anyone remember Pop-Up Video? Watch CinemaSins? One of the networks needs to put his speech on a time delay, keep a running tally of this lies in one corner, and add little pop-ups containing the truth.

I first read that as David Arquette having been involved in a death match with Nicolas Cage and got SO excited. That’d be one bonkers event I would love to see.

More than anything, I would love to see a time when we wouldn’t have to hold this event, a time when there were no longer any murders of trans people to mourn. Sadly, the numbers just seem to keep going up, year after year. I’m helping put on our city’s first TDOR gathering, and I wish it weren’t necessary.

Good answer from him. Also, if a lobster roll is a sandwich, then a hot dog is as well.

I hate to say, but I’m pretty sure they’re rising outside America, too. Hate spreads, and it’s spreading to other parts of the world as well. Even to Canada, sadly.

Our early ancestors with that particular trait tended to die out after going blind. At least the women did.

I know at least one person whose doctor has said they’re ok with the person (a chronic pain patient with a number of health issues,) turning to and using heroin to deal with their pain. I guess it lets the doc feel good about ‘not overprescribing opiates’ or something. It does help with the pain, but considering
