@Return of DaOtter: I see your point. But for me it's having something like Google maps that require constant internet connection is not an option. That's why I like Navigon (sure, I have iPhone and not an Android device).

@takeshi: Well, it's about 1 million people here, so it's not too small. My point was - it's not *that* difficult to find your way around in a place where you live for a while. And that I believe a true GPS app need to store all maps on a device to be useful in most cases. At least for me - hence my opinion.

@JoelD: Like what? If you have something seriously encrypted, good luck getting to it.

@CherM2222: I was not insulting you, your father or grandfather, I was just pointing out, that making statements like that, without knowing anything Russian, no knowing Russia, is very ignorant.

@learniiburn: You know, I've been living in North America for a long time and I've seen many different ethnic groups here and Russians are the worst of their kind - most of them try to fit into new societies too hard and they are blaming their motherland out loud for anything and everything, while they forget that

@soldstatic: Good luck lifting them and carrying them down :)

@learniiburn: And many other grandfathers of young Americans will hate Russians for no other reason expect all the bullshit they've listened to and believed over the years. Thinking is something that is absent from people when they are being scared into believing that someone is out to get them, be it communists,

@lpranal: And the same army that defeated all invaders including Napoleon, Hitler... So yeah, pretty useless people there.

@—Core—: And I was watching a video on YouTube about how it was the government that caused 9/11...

@CherM2222: What are you even talking about? You think that Russia has to special search and rescue teams for cosmonauts landing in remote locations? WTF dude!? Can you think with you own head instead of believing all bullshit propaganda you and your father and your grandfather have been fed with for the past 60 years?

Unless it has all maps locally - it's a no game for me. I doubt anyone really need a GPS for the place they live in. Well, only occasionally. But traveling, especially international - that's when you need a GPS, and requiring internet connection is a no-go in that case. I use Navigon when traveling and I love it.

@D.LYTE: Perfect explanation. Mine is - everyone is so starved for attention that they don't get, or they don't have enough real interaction with real people, that they start living on these websites thinking they are somehow connected to others by changing their status from 'I am eating' to 'I am sleeping, lol'... It

@mynamesafad: I think the only way to get freedom is to use a open source packages like Myth or MediaPortal or other. Then you won't be restricted by anyone. Hopefully.

@matt_mcmhn: Hrmm.. USB? Why not just a network and access it from some real computer for storage or point it to a file server?

@Weiman: Yeah, what a face! :) I noticed it right away looking at the first photo.

Something for North American airlines to watch and learn - it's time to start hiring young, cute, energetic and fun stewardesses again! :)
