I think this is a good example of why Tesla sharing its patents is so important to technological development. Companies that promote design creativity - like Tesla or Bose - cannot always find commercial value for their technology. Making it possible for others to find the value or to improve on “commercial failures”

Love him or hate him, Cam was only one small part of that offensive debacle.

I cannot star this comment enough times.

Purely for the sake of argument: wasn’t the USWNT “celebration tour” also a meaningless exhibition game?

The idea that this officer gives a hoot about this interaction - on the Internet or not - is silly. Which is exactly the point: the videographer made this video for herself, not out of some good-Samaritan “power to the people” altruism.

I am all for a level playing field and holding everyone accountable for their actions, but why post the smarmy video on YouTube? It’s a bad look. You want to remind a cop he’s not above the law? Do it. But doing it camera-in-hand changes the context of the stop which is no longer just about doing the right thing.

That's 28 years ago. Aren't we overdue?!?!

I can’t tell if this article is just a troll-job... The answer to your question has three parts:

Apparently what US foreign policy needs in the middle east is an itchier trigger finger.

This is a very flawed argument, the basis of which is “it’s worth rolling the dice on Iran’s reaction in order to make a point.” By your same logic, when two of our boats entered Iranian waters then Iran should have sank them both. “Because one of these days it will be a hostile action. And [Iran] won’t be ready for

My god imagine if this happened in NE

If this were journalism (rather than just copy/pasting what other reporters are finding out), it would be bad journalism.

Hi - I’d like you to explain the implicit logic in this bad Deadspin post. You seem seem to be saying that rather than verifying whether a story is true or not, we should just suggest that people are acting nefariously until we get verification. Is that what you’re saying? If so, what made you arrive at this position?

What on earth are you talking about? Always clip your weight. The worst possible scenario for a weightlifter lifting heavy is for the weight to shift (let alone fall off). The “LOL EPIC FAIL” certainly did not save his life. He’s lucky he didn’t tear something, break his back, pinch a limb between the teetering bar

I agree with your logic but I imagine the most likely next step is that BB will clarify with the officials (and the Broncos) before the game what constitutes that the QB has given himself up. Standard NFL procedure for something like this.

If Peyton broke the rules, why should we have a problem with him being outed and punished? PED (and other drug) rules may be stupid but they’re the rules. There’s an obvious tie here to the Tom Brady thing insofar as in both cases some circumstantial evidence suggests a rule violation that offers some level of
