And therein lies the issue: every generation is full of shitheads, if you don’t think so, you’re probably the shithead

If you stare at any manager long enough, they’re all bad. Except for Earl Weaver.

Counterpoint:

In a world where most things are kinda dump, Vin Scully is and always has been decidedly excellent.

Independent of this item, Knight is an awful analyst

This definitely wasn’t a “good” show but pretending (?) to murder a giant-among-giants with a garbage truck followed by the good people of Minneapolis chanting “U-S-A!” while a former Olympic Gold Medalist impersonates a simultaneously super popular and super hated guy to pull on a super-over act from like 4 years ago

If the question involves “the Knicks” and “historically bad” the answer is always a “yes”

A few years back (well before movie megastardom and I believe before his Bluetista run), I rode on the metro in the same car as Batista to a Nationals game. First and foremost, he is an impossibly large human being. Secondly though, some other passenger said “Batista, my man! DC’s real champion!” to which Big Dave

The person who has said “LeBron” the most is this kid:

I personally would never do this but who cares if it’s not impeding the view of others?

San Andreas was fun and made $474 M against a $110 budget... i think that qualifies

A-Rod was bad? When Joba came up in 2007, A-Rod had spent 4 years in NY with the following line:
173 HRs, 88 steals vs 18 cs, .303/.403/.573, an OPS+ of 153, 30.8 WAR and two MVP awards... if that’s bad, I’d love to know what good is

It makes absolutely no sense that these teams would keep a perfectly good QB unsigned... I mean it’s complete BS... why? Cuz of his actions on the sideline? You’re not going to sign him and put out this garbage? Unbelievable...

I dunno... Lesnar definitely can be accused of mailing it in at times and this last match with Strowman was kinda “meh”... but his last few matches were:
Summerslam - totally rad fatal 4 way that was legitimately one of the most fun matches in all of pro wrestling the past 10 years

Having been born after the death of the territories, I’ve only found out about the old stuff watching old “tapes” and through the WWE Network... Good Ol’ JR is still the best ever for me (part-nostalgia, part-he really is that good) but watching old Memphis stuff is amazing and Lance Russell really did make it great.

No doubt... I’d certainly never begrudge a man for stopping his career in a health-related decision

Yes. Part of players’ union dues.

We’ll all laugh and joke about how terribly this roster is constructed and then LeBron will go supernova and get his team to the Finals just in time to lose to the Warriors

Ah an extra year away... but yeah, he was a fringe player before he signed with the Pirates two years ago so certainly, there would be no guarantees on a roster spot for him. However, he might still have some value as a end-of-the-bench guy who can play a few positions... I could see him sticking around on a bad team

Good for Jaso. Though were I him, I’d try to stick around one more year to hit that 10-year service time marker... annual pension payouts go up to $100,000 at 10 yrs.
