Do the new robots have the Roomba's drag and drop feature: a snaggle of dust will drag behind the back end of the Roomba and eventually let go. Maybe that's one reason why the Roomba needs to criss-cross the room several times. I still like mine even though you have to prepare the room and clean the sucker out (two

Dr. Seuss would not be happy, Mr. Spratt. :-)

If you showed me selected portions of that and told me it was the interior of the Titanic, I would have believed it. Wow!

What, no publicity shots of someone awkwardly holding it up to their face trying to use it as a phone?

@Segador: There are so many factors involved when you're trying to translate expressions, especially slang. "Dude, that chick is smokin' " might be translated as "Friend, that women is beautiful." It worked for Paula Jones.

@Pew Pew BOOM: Bird with dog teeth: scary. Bird with dog teeth and human-like tongue: really scary! Photo: priceless.

"Manned" = mannequinned

@Euclidean: Typing in all caps is considered shouting and rude. Comments consisting of "wrong" or "shut up" are hit and run trolling and impress no one. Forgetting to set the flaps for takeoff is pilot error. I could be mistaken as to the warning system on this particular aircraft - it seems a lot of other posters are

Forgetting to set the flaps is pilot error. The warning system would only come into effect after the pilot error.

Shows how online gadgets isolate us. In the original the man, the woman and the guy behind the counter could be engaged in a conversation, making us feel sorry for the loner with his back to us. Now they're all isolated from each other.
