Trying to figure out what that archer's wearing. Ancient spandex? Cotton, silk, wool? Or is it a statue of a diety, in which case the costume is no doubt made of magic.

Don't care if there's airplanes in there. Absolutely gorgeous. Is there an Oscar for best home video?

". . . provided the flights aren't sold out." Others have noted the limited destinations. Wonder what else is in the fine print that makes this offer less than great?

Having raised a daughter, I know that teenage girls used to do the most talking on the old-fashioned land line, so it's no surprise they do the most texting. But 100/day on average? Maybe . . .

Had one back in the day. Didn't have a built-in heater so that mass of water got cold in the winter. I threw a regular mattress on top of it during cold weather and it was like sleeping on a raft, which was also pretty nice.

This is analogue? The aliens will play it too slow and come to Earth looking for Ellen Degeneris (trying to speak Whale in Finding Nemo), or they'll play it too fast and come looking for Alvin, Simon and Theodore.

She's there to show she's taller than the other gals. . . No, wait, take away those shoes and the beehive hairdo and she's only 3 feet tall.

Darn. Great beer-grabbing, sliding-out exit ruined by having to return for his bag.

@Charlotte Corday: It was birds that led to Captain Skully's successful water landing. (Sorry, I couldn't resist. Please accept my apologies.)

I grew up in San Juan. I think they are talking about closing to traffic what is called Old San Juan, which is the historic Spanish colonial part of the city: centuries old buildings, streets paved with blue brick, the gigantic El Morro fortress. People have been talking about closing it to vehicle traffic for years.

Look, there's Mom and Baby George talking to Aunt Betty about their fabulous new flying cars!

This will be the end of showing off your iPhone to impress girls.

Your larva is lovely! When it gestates gonads, will it be a boy or a girl?

Happy to report that Kindle v.2.2, complete with dictionary, is running just fine on my iPhone 3GS with iOS 3.1.3.

@Mindfield: ". . . should be a breeze." Funny. I get it. :)

@fyngyrz: I agree with your assessment. My wife had breast cancer on her right side and we do use box spring mattresses and she sleeps on her right side. I think it had more to do with the fact that her mother had breast cancer also.

You suppose Apple deliberately let this story leak to create a market for a glowing white phone, rather than fix the glowiness?

@Mindfield: There's also the problem that water boils at a lower temperature the lower the atmospheric pressure. Try the sci-fi idea of smacking a comet ice-ball into Mars to create an ocean - and watch it boil away in the sunlight under Mars' current atmospheric pressure. Somehow magically increase Mars' air pressure

What exactly are Apple's standards? If the woman's right breast cup was 1" higher, would that have been okay? Would a coming of age story about a man be okay, but not if about a woman?

Anyone know where it's going? Is it in solar orbit and just varying the height or eccentricity of it's orbit -which would cool enough - or is it travelling from from one orbit to another? (Didn't phrase that well due to lack of knowlege of orbital mechanics, but I hope you know what I mean.)
