Loved his scene with Killmonger later, on the spirit plane.

I loved that show but I guess they did that approach already.

I think it’s a case of name recognition - she’s the only character in this franchise, per se, and since you can’t glorify crime in a kids’ show, per se, you have to find a workaround if she’s going to be the main character. Granted, there are OTHER possible workarounds, but I’m sure this show will be fun.

Now give me a

Oh, I absolutely think this is the case - but the article above frames the awkwardness around the reveal in terms of their sexual relationship, which...not in this franchise, chief.

I can’t see the “boning a relative” thing being particularly weird given Game of Thrones generally and Dany’s family specifically, but finding out that he’s a contender for the throne is probably not going to go over well with Dany. (I doubt she’ll want to share it.)

Furthermore, having actual armed police officers actually in schools hasn’t done anything to stem school shootings, but it sure has led to students of color getting arrested for things that would otherwise get them sent to the principal.

Which is, I think, why the throne is attractive to him. The prospect of not being monumentally important is terrifying to him. I don’t read the decision to kill Snoke as a bid for the throne, as some have - I think it’s what he has to do to not have to kill Rey. He doesn’t think about what he’s going to do after

This suuuuuuuuuuuuuucks I loved the premise.

::watching an intense scene set years before Rogue One in which a character we know barely anything about may fail in an important intelligence gathering mission for the Rebellion, putting all the new characters on the show in danger and possibly having repercussions for other stories in the same universe::

“This sucks

“Why should I care about these characters when I already know how they die?” - A Star Wars fan listening to a story about your grandparents

Do you not know what a black person is?

You do understand that not all women of color are black, right?

It does, because Luke is wrong and realizes he’s wrong and comes around. You don’t even have to wait for the end of the movie for that - Rey calls him on this in the next line. As if to underscore the fact that Luke was full of crap, we see at the end that Rey took the ancient Jedi texts.

It’s because they don’t have to, because the resistance ships are going to run out of fuel. The entire point of hyperspace tracking is that they now have the luxury of just harrowing the resistance until it exhausts itself.

This was a mistake of the highest order because it dismisses the OT and the PT and the wonderful villain character of Darth Sidious/Emperor.

That’s to ease people into it who saw the movie. The characters in the movie are called Viago, Vladislav, and Deacon. The characters in the show are named Laszlo, Nadja, Nandor and their human friend Guillermo. It’s even in the article above.

I don’t think these are supposed to be the same vampires we met in New Zealand.

I am here for this idea and for the grammatically correct construction of the title.

Gimme that sweet sweet religious horror exorcism ancient biblical evil demon shit.

I like that Ryu is wearing a headband under his helmet, which is also wearing a headband.
