It’s always been my impression that they chose this profession precisely because it meant traveling a lot and plausibly demanding clients.

It’s just so implausibly good.

Probably the plea-bargain they mention in Infinity War.
All I really want is a straight-to-DVD animated film adaptation of the Lord Drakkon storylines from the comic.
lol no
I mean they’re technically right - it could! But if it will affect the story, we won’t know until we know.
Um, no. Either the bombs drop at the rate determined by the force of gravity within the space ship or they drop at a rate that’s a percentage of the gravity near the planet’s surface.

I don’t agree with this totally - the battle happens more perpendicular to the planet than in the direction of the gravity well - but for some reason you’re just discounting the fact the the bombs are falling out of the bomber at the rate they would fall if they were within the planet’s atmosphere, as they would…
Based on the movies both the bombers and the target ships appear to have Earth level of artificial gravity. If so, then the force exerted by the targets would be less that the one exerted by the bomber since they are farther away.
Forward momentum notwithstanding, they’re still falling down out of a relatively slow moving vehicle at an artificial gravity that seems roughly equivalent to Earth’s, if we’re meant to take Callie’s fall seriously, so opening the doors wouldn’t cancel their downward momentum. Also: the most powerful source of gravity…
I think it’s the sheer size of the payload. Each one of those seemed able to deliver hundreds of bombs.
Not only are the bombs magnetized, but the inside of the bombers have gravity, which means once they fall out of the hatch they’re just going to keep falling in the same direction because of their momentum.
What’s consistently surprising to me is that there seems to be a really good version of this show possible that just acknowledges how wrong Lou is over and over again, and where he learns to humble himself a little and learn from the kids.
If they’re changed “fucked” to “effed,” wouldn’t that affect the entire rhyme scheme of the song? I’m more interested in how they get around that hurdle than Gwen’s home life.
I want to like this show with every atom of my being.
We know Luke trained Leia, some. Episode VIII focused more on Leia’s Force sensitivity than any of the other films and, sadly, seems to have ended on the note that Leia and Rey would have a very close relationship in IX - and likely that Leia would have some sort of face-to-face with her son, in which I hope everyone…
Directors right now perceive the world as if it were presented on a proscenium stage, but VR demands you perceive the world much more immersively.
I don’t recall it mentioning Batuu, but it definitely says they worked together.
