I think at that point Leia was annoyed that her rescue seemed doomed to get her killed.

I will say if, like the movies’ post credits scenes, the aim of these isn’t just to cap stories or to provide cliffhangers but to tease cohesion between multiple titles and point you in the right direction for where to find the rest of this story (a sort of...this thread in Spider-Man is getting picked up in the next

Spoilers, but the defection doesn’t really “just happen.”

My fave: Vader, after killing a bunch of people in a royal ballroom.

My headcanon: a lot of planets were more important before interstellar travel was common as waypoints in their own systems. If our whole solar system had colonies and operations on it and ships constantly traveling to and fro, for example, maybe Mars would make sense as a place to stop, refuel, trade a little, and

One of my favorite things about Rebels is that it’s mostly about the plight of one planet - Lothal. Every mission that takes the crew aways from Lothal is ultimately in the service of returning some day.

My favorite moment in Rebels is in one of the first episodes, when Kanan finally activates his lightsaber and the stormtroopers are awestruck for a moment before collecting themselves and resuming fire. It was so emblematic to me of how I’d always wanted Jedi to be treated.

Qui-Gon Jinn is incredible but Obi-Wan not just being Yoda’s apprentice drives me nuts. Almost as nuts as Leia never really seeing her mother’s face. I know there are explanations to smoothe over these inconsistencies, but man...

I dig this, and if they wanted to give a nod to the original name they could say she didn’t grow up with Diana because she was whisked off to Nubia.

KATE BISHOP.

Oh no there’s chancleta jokes in this movie?

I don’t know if that’s the only way to approach this, particularly considering Spawn isn’t a villain. It’s not even the way all monster movies are structured.

I think he’s actually revealing that Spawn *won’t* be the only focus character of the film - everything he’s said about this movie makes it sound like he’s Making a horror movie that follows Sam and Twitch while they try to figure out what’s going on in the alleys.

Still no Maz Kanata, huh, Han Solo spinoff?

I’ve always just been able to accept that different shows approached the design differently...
