I sort of hope Boba Fett is the baddie in the Han Solo movie, though.

The 4,000 year jump between seasons 3 and 4 would be hard for fans to swallow, I think.

Can I play the piano anymore?
Of course you can!
Well I couldn’t before!

Now playing

Every single time I read the acronym of the Magical Congress of the United Stated of America, this:

My fave.

Tessa Thompson’s character says they don’t want the hosts, they want the code. I used to think they were interested in creating host bodies for real people - Ford mentions curing death in the pilot - but now I wonder if they want to create ways to control real people.

Yeah I think the coolest thing is getting a better sense of Chewie’s personality as Mayhew saw it.

I’m sure the screenwriters or the director provided the dialogue for the actors when it came to Chewie and Artoo, so that they’d have something to play off of. Vin Diesel reports a similar thing, of having conversations with James Gunn about what Groot was saying at any given moment in order to give the line that

I think that may be true in this case, except that in the books Molly often sets four or five things to cooking on their own.

Exactly. And I think that makes a lot of sense!

An American fifth column Grindelwald sympathizer...

I’d be surprised if they gave Dumbledore to an American actor.

Exactly. He’s referring to Spock this way because he’s identifying the experience with his own experience.

“The Prestige TV Show Hot Take Economy is extremely bad and dumb, but so is arguing that the way that we talk about and depict our world in fiction is irrelevant and not worth talking about in general. Granted that many people do it in a way that is stupid and wearying - that doesn’t invalidate the broader principle

Right, but what’s unclear is what “great” and “shite” mean in this case, or what it means to be “powerful.” That is to say: what differentiates Dumbledore’s slug-vomiting charm from Harry’s?

Right, but while we see a lot of examples of spells working or not working, we don’t see a lot of examples of wizards casting the same spell and them both totally working but one is working better or differently because of some other talent the wizard has. Also does the spell contain the instructions for presentation?

Right but is she a good baker or does the spell produce perfect baked goods? Is the wand a good baker? What is the skill involved?

My chief question about this is...so is she a good baker? Or is it just a spell for a perfect strudel? This was my whole preoccupation with Mrs. Weasley...like...if she cooked with magic...like....

I love this.

She also looks like she was textured by a creepier Deep Dream.
