Another thing about privilege: Batman spends relatively little time combatting the systemic issues surrounding the influence of *people like himself* and instead fights crime from the bottom up.
Yes! This is a perfect example of an improvement that doesn't hinge on the ethnicity change making a character *more oppressed.*
I actually find it really dispiriting that, given the question of changing a characters' ethnicity to better the story, the only examples anyone can come up with are ones where it would enhance the oppression. It's not that this isn't valid - the Nick Fury example above is beautiful, and I don't think that's *why*…
And that's probably what the red highlights are forz
That's not what it says though - it says Tony Stark found a simple Chitauri program and built it into a complex intelligence (probably despite the objections of more rational souls). It almost seems weirder to litter NYC with wrecked alien tech and just have it go away.

Thank you for talking about it.
sorry, is no one going to talk about the 10 foot long amphipods?

"Being a Kingsman has nothing to do with the circumstances of one's birth."
Maybe it's just a really insightful adaptation of Beowulf.
Did he forget that that's what anacondas do before eating?

Right? But then going ahead and using plotpoints and references as the movies progressed like, "Who cares? They read the books."
