Christ almighty I'm so glad someone else thinks the film's ending was better than the comic's. Then again, I always kind of felt that Alan Moore wanted Ozymandias to finally, actually be a supervillain, an honest-to-God, over the top, completely insane supervillain.
There was recently a stage adaptation of The Lathe of Heaven in NYC. Heard it was pretty good.
I like the second one.
I find it incredible that they felt the need to present them this way, as opposed to a simply utilitarian approach. The woman holding open her flesh so you can look at her womb is especially interesting.
