The travesty here isn’t necessarily in the names, it’s in the “alternate spelling to make my son unique” factor - which is always a terrible idea. Beyond that, names like Erik, Austin, Justin, Jeremiah, and Marlon are normal enough.

Did not watch video (hey, I’m at work!). But how much of this has to do with regulatory oversight enforcing quieter engines? I’m sure that airplane engines are designed something like: Speed, Economy, Quiet - pick two. If quiet is mandated, then speed is the logical exclusion.
