But do you know what Frozen is based on?
It's hard to say how meaningful those fairy tales would be to modern audiences if Disney hadn't adapted them, though. And Disney in creating movies in some ways creates "new" fairy tales. A modern mythology.
I made a video commemorating this moment:
When I look at that picture I just hear this:
LOVE HURTS
LOVE SCARS
LOVE WOUNDS
AND MARS
I don't see a scenario happening where Billy Batson isn't aged up to like, 16 or 17 or something. There's still the contrast that he'll be a weak little skinny wimp in his human form.
I really don't believe the Shazam movie is happening. That list seemed really fake, created purely from what is already rumored. I think the Shazam thing was thrown in to make us go "Oh, this list must be real! Nobody would be crazy enough to pretend that a Shazam movie was being made unless it was actually being…
I think where Man of Steel went wrong was indeed the implication that Clark NOT KILLING PEOPLE was some sort of outer manifestation of deep, strong morality. The idea is that since he could do it so easily, by not doing it he's some sort of moral warrior the average human can look up to.
I would be more interested in it if it were called Dusk of Crime.
When you read stuff Zack Snyder says, it's hard to believe he can tie his shoes, let alone direct movies with hundred million dollar budgets.
It's the third map overall, if you count the one about superhero birth places. Maybe it's an unoffiicial cartography week?
What is with all the cartography love on here lately? Take some half-baked idea about putting comic book or fantasy stuff on a fake map and it'll get featured, apparently.
Hmm, I was going to say this show wasn't TOO bad about having them wear their masks, but I realized that Deathstroke barely puts on his mask, and Ollie's and Sarah's allowed them to only have domino masks and a hood in Ollie's case. Still, that's more than usual…if they do the Question, I think they'd go full…
We can only hope that Gotham ends up being a backdoor adaptation of Gotham Central's plotlines.
That's a particularly Slade-like plan!
I think it was more "willingly returned to the island to continue his hermitage, as its isolation brought about a new understanding of zen" or something like that.
"Aha! Thirty-two flavors! Just as I suspected."
You'll have to refresh my memory as it's been a while, but which Asian characters did they whitewash on the show? Or are you referring to Liam Neeson in Batman Begins?
The thing is, at this point, "second tier" is basically 95% of the DC universe because we've only had Batman and Superman movies with like, a fraction of their villains involved. Even throwing in everyone appearing in Batman v Superman, it's not like they don't have a gigantic slew of characters they can dig through…
