The CW doesn't have the budget for either of Watanabe or Neeson.

Way 101: Scaphism

Some things are MORE of a waste of time, though, or a WORSE waste of time.

Standards and practices basically said you couldn't kill humans, or presumably humanoids, on screen. You could presumably kill animal-like monsters in certain cases, and of course robots you could smash to smithereens.

Leonardo did a LOT of kicking for a guy with TWO katanas.

What was funny was even after he was cured of his "madness", Slade is still evilr. The madness was that he saw Shado everywhere. He still knowingly wanted to kill Oliver and his family.that entire time over his perception of why Shado died.

And then, paradoxically, still killing quite a few people if you keep track…

I've mentioned this a few times: does anyone notice that they always drop off the salmon ladder, leaving the bar at the top? How do they get it back down?

That obstacle course is giving new meaning to the phrase "Do the Mario"…

This makes it all technically method acting, right? I wonder if he gets shot for real too.

The Flash might just stick to the Rogues, though, and not venture in talking gorilla territory…depends on if they think they can cash in on that Dawn of the Apes love!

"The plastic tips on the ends of shoelaces are called aglets. Their true purpose is sinister."

I didn't really like Quina (I have a tendency to dislike the weird, wacky, non-human character thrown in simply to have one in these games—from Cait Sith to Kamahri [actually, I despise Wakka, whereas Kamahri is okay]), although I did like the fact that the game actually managed to bring his race fully into the plot

I'm a bit confused by you saying his in-game model not matching up with the CG scenes—they seem very close to one another. It's just that the low-res of the in-game model versus the cutscenes obfuscated that he's wearing a bikini. But if you look at the in-game model in a hi-res version, he's clearly exactly the same

The only time FFX offered a legitimate challenge to me was when Sin showed up at an early point in the game, and I think that one battle with whatshisname that takes place on a mountaintop was also where I died a few times.

The thing with FFIX's crazy plot twists though is compared to VII and especially VIII, it's still easily the least convoluted of the PSX era.

Of the three PSX ones, I'd definitely pick IX as my favorite by a pretty wide margin.

I really liked when Seanbaby played it:.

King Crimson's latest albums are also a good place to start and fairly accessible, I think. Some clear industrial influences on several tracks.
