I addressed several reasons why the comparison does not work, you ignored all of them. You seem biased. If you weren't, you would have addressed exactly how the US and Australia are comparable.

Not really that comparable to the US. We border Mexico, aren't an island, have a much larger and more diverse economy/population... tough comparison.
