josie and the pussycats is one of my favorite teen movies from that time. it has an amazing cast, one of the best soundtracks, and you can’t go wrong with parker posey and alan cumming together.

I’ll agree the driving, music and shooting were top notch. What it mainly lacked was the ability to make me give a shit about the main character. I have to assume Ansel Elgort was a required hire, because he is completely devoid of charisma.

For me personally, it delivered on the things you mentioned, but lacked a romance that worked, a lead with charisma, and a villain (the movie has literally four villains and they keep switching with no rhyme or reason).

You know shit’s gonna get real when they take an upbeat song and make a somber, Norah Jones-esque cover.

Wait and see. The trailer for Baby Driver looked awesome, and the movie under delivered.

I will defend Ang Lee’s Hulk (to a certain degree) in that I think it’s a very good film, but not a very good superhero film. Visually the comic book pages thing was very good and I liked the father/child motif that was running through it with Bruce/David and Betty/Thunderbolt.

It’s just the ever increasing (in height)

I’m getting flashbacks to Ang Lee’s Hulk. I get the attraction from both angles -- having a serious dramatic director adds prestige to the movie, and said serious dramatic director would like the financial and popular success that they can’t get from doing arthouse movies. But is it a good fit?

Narrator: It was not.

I feel like this should mean we get Season 4 now.

Dude, it knocks out 0-60 in less than 4½ seconds.

Exactly. Not having to buy a tool chest for the bed is SUPER cool. Also, the idea that I could stick a portable fridge/cooler in the frunk and keep it powered for the trip is a great idea.

It’s going to be really nice to have a frunk which can hold lots’a stuff instead of adding a janky toolbox to the bed.

I knew the Frunk was generally a good idea. I just wasn’t prepared to understand how great of an idea it is on a big truck like this.

I guess I always assumed Gomez was Latino, which made it extra refreshing he was played by an actual Latino in the movies. Nice to see that get cemented a bit more with this casting.

This seems to be the second failed attempt to "vertically integrate" Warner Media in the past two decades. Remember AOL-Time-Warner. Heck, remember AOL, even?

“That's one option but, now hear us out, we could keep our internet dogshit but buy exclusivity deals so you can't get it from anyone else?" - an AT&T

Does Discovery Inc. make anything that isn’t ephemeral trash?

I’m no corporate bigwig but, honestly, if I was Tim Cook, I would seriously consider having Apple buy it. Apple is trying to develop a media empire but, while TV+ has some great content, the branding isn’t working and they are blowing a ton of money. Blow a little more and you have a ready made media empire with one

To be fair, 3.0 was not great...

Fuck. Yes.
