Marvel really like shooting at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis. It showed up in the Homecoming trailer as well (though I think the shot was changed for the actual movie).

Good god. The MCU meets Doctor Who meets Control? Sign me all the way up

It wasn’t very good. The movie is probably my favorite film of all time. But I will confess I had no idea how bad it was between Glenn and Shephard, and this version certainly highlighted that.

Damn right!  The best actor in the film was Sam Shepard as Chuck, the entire film is wonderful but those parts are top notch.

Never read the book, but those Chuck Yeager scenes are my favorite part of the movie. Kind of like the myth of the cowboy fading into the myth of the astronaut.

I’m sorry to say I didn’t even know it existed, except as a vague “They’re making a television series based on The Right Stuff” blurb I saw...here, I think, some years back.

I watched it and it was....fine, I guess. But leaving out the parallel story of Chuck Yeager means it wasn’t The Right Stuff. It was just a generic miniseries about the Mercury program.

I always just kind of assumed it was supposed to just be that one season. The Right Stuff is about the Mercury Program, and if you want to tell stories about Gemini and Apollo, that can be its own show.

That’s a swank little Russian choral remix of the Avenger’s theme they use there at the end.

This would be much better if it contained the, y'know, trailer.

The Dark Knight is no more responsible for crap like the Snyderverse (come at me) than Star Wars is for the glut of tiresome imitator space movies from the 1980s, or Nirvana is for the entirety of late 90s rock. Innovators are not responsible for imitators.

As is pointed out in the article, the MCU went with a different tone from The Dark Knight and was hugely successful.

Let’s be honest, while most of us love Lady Dimitrescu. She’s beautiful, tall with a nice figure. She’s a lotta woman. But knowing the RE franchise you just know at some point in the game she’ll show her true form. A grotesque monster that’s the final boss. RE ruins babes like that lol.

This fucking rules

Regarding Hemsworth, I rewatched Endgame a couple weeks ago, and the thing that has stuck with me most is that in all 20-odd Marvel movies, the single best line delivery was Hemsworth at the end, assuring Starlord that he was in charge. “Of course..... of course.” That pause and second whispered “of course...” was

In all serious, you’re not wrong!

He’s 56. Time is coming for you too, and it is undefeated.

Pro Tip: Staying in shape is hard work.

Fun in a DC movie?

Fun in a DC movie? Edgelord fans will be pissed.
