I find that difference in the brake and gas useful, as I never tap throttle unless I’m braking, and when the brake pedal is depressed, the two are lined up perfectly.

If you’re going for maximum braking, you’d want the fine motor skills of your toes in order to precisely balance the brake point. You really only need to blip the throttle to get it right, which your heel can do just fine. Just look at Mr. Rohl in the GIF.

My new background photo. Honestly, three of my favorite cars. I love Lancia.

Holy shit, I need to look at the dates of posts more often.

In case no one else has answered this, I will. I’m assuming you know that while North Americans will refer to WW2 as just that, the war was called “The Great Patriotic War” in the Soviet Union, as a way of refering back to the French Invasion of Russia during War of 1812, as that war was called the “Patriotic War”. Wait, what are the rules for finishing? Is it based upon who does the most laps, or the first car to finish when the flag is dropped?

I think that when you say dirt, you have to understand that it’s not single track motocross stuff. It’s back country logging roads, where youre riding on dirt for long periods of time. At least, that’s what i use it for.

I read through some of that. That guy has some issues. Does anyone know what happened to him?

I could see it being used as a really close screening unit ahead of a manned main battle group. Not quite recce, but still ahead to 1. absorb rounds, and 2. engage anything in sight. The problem with stuff like this is DFing the controller and vehicle wouldn’t be too hard.

I feel like the news reports on the first attack were a bad idea. It literally gave ISIS a damage assessment they would have otherwise been unable to do. Sometimes, the public has the right to know, and sometimes the soldiers deployed have a right to live.

I live near Kelowna, and have been looking for something AWD but small and fun to toss around regardless of the weather.

Where in BC did you live before, and now? I keep seeing one of these for sale, in that graphite gray. And its been tempting me.

What are the black smoke rings? Smoke cover?

Actually, if the interior of the hull has remained at surface pressure until you escape, you body will not have dissolved more gasses into your body. You won’t experience decompression sickness on the way up unless you are at depth pressure for longer periods. Example: free divers can dive to 100m with decompression

Remember that the Soviet navy was 3 year conscription with low retention rates for enlisted. Most junior officers did the jobs of senior enlisted and junior officers. Plus, for something this technologically advanced, generally only officers had the education needed to run it.

Blades appear to slow down.... on the camera. That doesn’t mean they actually did. They could have sped up if the blade’s angle of attack was reduced for some reason, which would also explain the engine speed increase. But, that’s also just speculation.

I was getting worried, then I remembered I live in Canada.

Where in Canada are you? I’d be interested to see this race.

The sound system in the old ridgelines are very good considering it’s stock.

Lancia Delta made it, lets keep this momentum going. #TeamΔ
