I think you missed the context of my reply.

I’m not sure you know what Amendment 4 was. 1.5 million got back their right to vote, so they haven’t had a party. And the cherry on top? The very man who denied them that right for YEARS is the person who won that Senate race by only 10,000 votes. Scott will be a one term Senator, unless the Democrats royally screw

Tribalism is a hell of a drug. It’s not as simple as the Democratic Party wooing people over, you have to deprogram their attachment to the Republican Party first.

A bright spot in this crapfest.

You read from an odd position.

In addition to Dr. Opossum’s great points - Rick Scott rolled out the red carpet for Puerto Ricans displaced by Hurricane Maria and all his Spanish language ads distanced himself from Trump, while his English language ads did the opposite.

Gillum: racism; Nelson: quite possibly a moronically formatted ballot in Broward county.

Republicans like successful rich guys, even if they have some corruption in their history, and Scott is one. His terms coincided with the economic recovery which has been good for many Floridians. And he got some good press lately with the hurricane in the Panhandle.

What makes Florida so hard to figure out is that we had Nelson, a conventional and centrist Democrat, and Gillum, a progressive, lose. It’s truly confounding.

I knew this was the likely outcome, but man does it hurt.

What the fuck do Floridians see in Rick Scott?

They’ll give him the first year in Vegas because he’s a name

Florida’s three term Democratic Senator Bill Nelson conceded to Rep. Rick Scott”

With the passage of Amendment 4 at least, the Republicans are going to have to figure out how to disenfranchise another million next time round.

Scott also called for unity.

Bullshit.

FOR GOODNESS RAKES FLORIDA stop voting garbage in!

By the end of the season, my pasty ass is going to need sunscreen to read Raiders posts.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Gruden thought David was still playing when he came back as coach.

No big deal -- Gruden’s contract is up pretty soon, right?
