Can’t wait to see Millie Bobby Brown play Nelson Mandela in the upcoming biopic about him at the end of his life! Gonna be great!

In the words of John Oliver, “Cool.”

So, the forced relocation of the Cherokee would be ok if they had AC?

Funny the guy uses the old “horrors of socialist countries” argument to say being anti-capitalist is idiotic and then suggests Pol Pot’s program as a solution to homelessness.

Keep avoiding the real issue and hiding behind shit that no one is debating. It will abide by a brown person before a black one? Are we bombing predominantly black countries or brown ones? Are we locking brown children or black children who did nothing wrong in cages. Did a brown president order the murder of a black

Because you defended it on a public forum. If someone is criticizing Trump for one of his statements and someone says they’re “missing the point” of what he’s saying and someone asks “What is the point of this thing he said?”, no one is doing some great injustice to you, they’re asking you to support your claim.

I’ve heard this a lot lately, and I’m honestly astounded. Apparently any focus on non-black people’s (and some that affect black immigrants!) issues ever is time to talk about anti-blackness and accuse those who care of being anti-black.

I didn’t know Tezlyn Figueora had a kinja. The guy who got beaten was a citizen too, you racist and xenophobic moron.

This reminds me of the people who wonder why “the race part” of Aziz Ansari never gets examined. What race part? That he’s South Asian and happens to be a POS?

No one is debating this, we’re addressing the weird passive-aggressive tone of the original comment that seems to be mad at us for caring about a xenophobic hate crime.

Who is debating that here and if no one, why does the original comment say:

Go back and reread the original comment: He said that “this smells to me”, presumably meaning this incident and then made a derisive and passive aggressive remark about “but we love immigrants right”. At best, this was a strange tone to use to make your point. At worst, it was accusing those who care about xenophobic

I keep hearing this bullshit false dilemma fallacy thrown around where it’s “Why do we care about immigrants when we as black people are suffering.”

But it’s actually a lazy point that makes no sense ad obscures this hateful incident that needs to be talked about. A police officer who beat an old man with a brick for walking past him on video would be charged with a crime. Now maybe we should talk about the idea that we as black people are above xenophobia is a

As bad as our justice system is when it comes to the abuses of law enforcement, I do think that a police officer who was on video beating an old man with a brick for walking past him would be CHARGED with a crime.

It reminds me of Monique’s (I believe)article about Cosby whataboutism takes. This seems more like trying to obscure what happened here than actually caring about police shootings and systematic racism. It also is a way to avoid some real anti-Hispanic attitudes within our community that we should address.

But then why does “this” smell to this person.

Yeah, this person is being disingenuous to say their original comment didn’t read as excusing this woman.

Exactly what I’m saying! Never bought the England hype. Only convincing result was beating up on a terrible Panama team. So what? Russia killed Saudi Arabia. They also had Sweden, one of the easiest quarterfinal matchups I’ve ever seen and managed a limp 1-0 win. Croatia outplayed the team they played clearly in every

This article sure isn’t giving credit to Croatia. “Inarguably inferior” England beat up on poor group stage competition but still couldn’t dominate shitty teams like Tunisia because of poor finishing on non-set pieces. Then, they barely beat a Colombia team that barely got out of the group stage again because of lax
