Is it any shock anymore that she’s one of those people who claim to defend women and their rights yet all they do is attack other women and reduce women to simply a reproductive function?

I watched it maybe a year ago on Netflix because I was bored.

Forget the director’s cuts. I’m ready for fans to start editing movies. I probably could have gotten on board with some of the newer Star Wars if they shaved 45 minutes off each one.

I can only hope that, in this version, a critical plot point will hinge on several characters simultaneously realizing that their mothers were all called Martha.

Its been said many times that Whedon didn’t change the plot, just added whitty dialog scenes here and there.  Sure they are part of the movies tone issues but the overall plot of the film with the motherbox Mcguffins and the boring villian are center to its problem and there is no way those are not part of the Snyder…

Ridley Scott was on like Cut three or four of Blade Runner by that point

If Steppenwulf is still the villain, there’s not enough Snyder cutting in the world to make it good.  Hopefully the Snyder Cut will have more Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman though.

I also offer up my guilt. Justice League comes on TV, I don’t change the channel. The Snyder Cut is happening and we are to blame.

I dunno. Seems to me it's fairly obvious to spot the reshoots. The tone abruptly shifts, the effects get worse, location work suddenly turns into obvious green-screen shots. And Whedon didn't even attempt to approximate Snyder's, uh, visual style. Instead of being uniformly bad, the movie is two different types of bad…

I somehow feel this all my fault. I rewatched the theatrical release of Justice League a few days ago, only because it was Amazon Prime and I was bored.

Peter Jackson did all that 18 years ago. Maybe this time it will take, although I think the Streaming versions are becoming increasingly definitive with the Academy beginning to accept them and all.
