I hope so.
I hope so.
He really can’t though, he’s right about that. Right now the alt-right is fracturing completely over Trump continuing to go further neo-con. If Obama starts attacking Trump, it’ll give his base a reason to unite again.
Let’s be real, Trump is giving al-Sisi a full pass on human rights violations against Egyptians. THAT’S why Egypt freed her. It’s a great thing that she’s free, but we sold a bit of our soul to do it.
I can’t believe people are giving props to Henry-fucking-Kissinger, horrible war criminal who would be in jail if any sane justice prevailed because he was glib about Kush. I’m genuinely fascinated by the people on twitter and the wonks who still think that because Kissinger is still part of respectable establshment,…
“How is this confusing to people?”
Unfavorable ratings only matter if the Dems offer strong candidates with clear & appealing platforms instead of, you know, uncharismatic candidates who also tote 60% unfavorable ratings. But as Barf Bag today helpfully points out:
They claim anything they can for media attention.
We’re going to use American steel, we’re going to use American labor, we are going to come first in all deals.
Brown running in NH was hysterical to me. If there’s one thing bound to annoy the good people of NH it’s a Masshole buying a vacation home & pretending to be a local.
Hirono is right on the money. “Island in the Pacific” is clearly meant to imply “foreign” and “non-white” to Sessions/Trump’s supporters. In a way it’s almost subtle by their usual standards.
Listen fellas, the song says “from sea to shining sea.” Not any funny business about “out past the sea.”
“I was trying to take my time and work through it”
Three whole minutes, huh.
I loved that they said he got dressed up with his “drinking buddies” in an ominous newscaster tone. I thought it was hilarious. If you don’t have weird pictures from college, you live a very boring life.
Funny, but I actually like the idea behind runoffs. Shouldn’t the candidate who wins the election be someone who the majority of people voted for? Donald Trump was able to win the primaries despite the fact that most Republicans voted for someone else. A runoff, if done correctly, helps create more diversity of choice…
Please, please, please be the bumper sticker....
Runoffs are designed to avoid vote-splitting leading to a non-optimal winner. It’s not a Condorcet method, but it does fix many of the problems under FPTp. And it’s not changing the rules mid game, the rules were set up in advance. I recommend you google Public Choice Theory to get an idea of why runoffs are used.
This comment doesn’t make much sense. Runoffs generally provide more choice, not left, and the first round helps politicians understand voter’s positions better (and in theory to adjust accordingly). A first-past-the-post win in the first round would leave more people feeling disenfranchised and would be a worse…
I mean, the town shares the same name as one of the Great Lakes. The person who gets paid to write articles for a living should know how to spell Erie, PA.
