I LOVE his hair! I have been trying for that look for a long time. Just the right blend of salt and pepper, neatly swept around and combed back. Nice!

@TheUltra: I don't understand who will create software, movie or other content if people stop paying for it. It's only "free" because someone else is paying for it. If NO ONE pays it will cease to exist because no one will be able to afford to make it.

Do you have an index mutual fund? Then you probably ARE a Netflix shareholder. You are apologizing to yourself.

Now we just need to do something about the "fake" or "mini" IMAX screens that have popped up everywhere. Charge more money for a slightly larger screen with stadium seating. Ugh.

@rashad123us: Actually, I remember when C-64 and Amiga fans said that. It lasted for years. But things move faster now, and people are not as loyal to phones.

@slackberry: Yes. And the wheel in the back that I cannot stop accidentally hitting. Especially when I give it to other people to take pictures of me — it always comes back as +1 or -1 on the exposure because someone bumped the wheel in back. Great camera otherwise, though.

@Odin: Ok, I meant in *many* European and overseas markets.

Consider that in Europe there are no such things as hardcovers. They go straight to "trade paperback" which are quite nice and less expensive. The US pub industry has held on to its hardcovers because of the increased margin, but now that's just driving people to the cheapest format that's available at the outset:

I own the board-game version of this. It's actually a really good game. Strategic and addictive at the same time. Much better than you would think by looking at the board.

It would have to be extraordinarily weighted at the bottom to achieve this. Then you would have a heavy phone. I don't think this is practical.

This is silly. They do competitive intelligence research. To do that, they buy the Verizon phones and use them in order to understand the competition (not to mention, defend patents if they think they are being infringed). Using Verizon phones means you need a Verizon signal. Why wouldn't they welcome the tower on

It was probably there before the iPhone was even launched.

@nikefreak252: Only because of the artificial mystery of the code. I guess the marketing is working.

@grafxguy: But it's just a gimmickly link. They could use a tinyurl on the billboard and achieve the exact same effect.

@talkingstove: Brand recognition. You won't run out to buy jeans now, but next time you're at the store you might think more highly of CK or at least hhave good associations with the brand name. This makes a big difference at the point of sale.

@tomsomething: Too late for that approach. The bad PR is harmful. If they found a fix they would announce it and offer replacements.

@stevieboy: Actually, in typical Microsoft fashion, if you use Firefox to view the site, it does not render properly and the image boxes overlap the text. Switch to IE and the page renders fine. I'm sure there's a plug-in somewhere that would fix this, but it drives me crazy.
