I occasionally run into the odd older guy at Volkswagen shows who first tries to guess the year of my '69 Beetle, and then proceeds to argue with me about the year of my stock '69 Beetle because "No, I think the '69 had this!".
I pulled a stuck transport truck (with 53' trailer!) out of a snowy loading dock with my '00 Durango. That was the only time that Durango did anything right without actually breaking.
Volkswagen group is making the next generation Beetle smaller and rear engined...
It looks like an Ikea sign.
They were going to use a Suburban, but then it was recalled.
Beetles had that as well... starting in '73 or '74. If there was weight on the passenger seat (ie, a jug of milk) the car wouldn't start unless you buckled up your milk.
Finally, they realize their car is the ugly girl with the fat ass of the supercar world.
Hopefully they all have eBay HID swaps, too.
Oh, and the new Mustang looks like an already ugly Hyundai product with a greasy body kit.
The door chime in the E90 alone would make me remove my dashboard with an axe.
I strongly dislike all Corvettes aside from the C2, I haven't enjoyed driving any 3 series BMW after the E30, and I think the Nissan GT-R looks like a bucket of assholes with the good parts picked out. Yes, I know it's fast and filled with the best technology ever, but... who cares? It's hideous. I'd rather drive…
It's like he Googled "cars that will make people think I'm a big 'ol American car guy", bought one of each then proceeded to poorly customize each one. Except the Hummer is missing. Where the hell is the hummer?
I know this car, and I love this car.
It's "The Sensor". It's always that.
Like the Juke, this concept drawing ALSO looks like ass!
There are also (allegedly) a bunch of drowned "brand new" BMW Isettas somewhere in Lake Ontario off the shores of Toronto... after the model was discontinued, (again, allegedly), BMW Canada just tossed a bunch of them into the lake when they didn't sell. Has it ever been confirmed? I don't think so. But I've heard the…
I had a '99 Durango (Hey, I bought it to use as a tow vehicle) for a very short period of time which I had to have the tranny rebuilt in (oddly enough.) anyhow, I learned the hard way that it didn't stay in park.
Yep... this was me, but it was a '66 Beetle. Slightly less prestigious, sure... but the passion is there.
