I mean, that’s basically what Inhumans were - mutants. But more politically charged because of Fox’s movie rights. Now that the rights are back, they don’t really need Inhumans, which supports your argument in my other reply (didn’t know any of the Perlmutter backstory, so thanks for that) that inhumans are out, and

The Cavalry is NOT here. I saw no Melinda May in this trailer ;)

Regarding Carol’s absorbing abilities, I think we’re to imply that she may already have Kree DNA, and is Inhuman. Much like Sky/Daisy/Quake had dormant powers in M.A.O.S, Carol may have had the same. I think this was further implied by Carol wearing a power inhibitor in the same location as the power inhibitor that

I guess it depends on your definition of “directly,” but Dr. Armin Zola created several power cores and weapons that were created directly from Tesseract energy transfer, and remained functional until they were destroyed. So there’s precedence here for for Carol to remain being powered by Tesseract energy even though

Not true if you’re using home-brewed circuit boards. It’s not a programming failure when the circuit fries or misses a signal because of over or under soldering.

left-side vs right side drive in cars today... let me just put a steering column right there. but on a slightly larger scale.

I never noticed the nod to the Wolverine/Sabertooth battle from X-Men 2000 until 0:15 of this vfx clip.

We don’t know who was in the room when Nat put in the call to Hulk’s Quinjet. They could have all been at Avengers HQ just off camera for all we know.

You say that, but this still happened (start at :48)

You’re describing Deadpool’s Secret Secret Wars...

Like others on this thread, I was late to the game on Stranger things and am now binge reading after binge watching. This gif is great, but it missed a really great opportunity...

There’s one in the Batcave in Batman Beyond...

I don’t know how you’re defining shitloads, but I didn’t actually see her off anyone until the 3rd act, and even then it was only a few dozen. In the No Man’s Land sequence, she was primarily striking at enemy weapons, not personnel. In a few instances she struck people with her shield, but even then she struck them

But Ego was never a celestial, AFAIK. The Celestials were giants among giants, and are long gone. We see the head of one as the site of Knowhere, and we see a baby one in a flashback (I say baby because even as tall as a skyscrapper, it was nowhere near the size of Knowhere), both in GOTG. Also, the origin story

When this came out, without anything but the title and poster, I really thought it was going to be a movie about Marvel’s Domino. I was super excited. Fairly certain I’m the only one who made this mistake going in. Really wanted Fox to give her the opportunity to reprise her role, if only in [partial] name. It

Totally agree with this. In this story, I took it that reavers were enhanced out of necessity (losing limbs to Laura and friends), not simply for purposes of enhancement. It also seemed to be Laura’s go-to move to grab then slice off limbs.

I had that same thought about Mirror Simon being Garrett (or vise-versa), and was bummed that I never caught a call back in any of his dialog. Granted Lola is a single color ‘62 vette and Simon’s vette was a two-tone ‘59. But he could have said something about her. I would have also loved to see him in a flashback

Checked and didn’t see anyone reply with this yet, so here it goes. I think that purple-hued tech wrapped around Bokeem Woodbine’s character’s hand is Hammer-tech. We see something similar used by Diamondback in Luke Cage, which we know is Hammer-tech because Diamondback said so.Arguably the suitcase-powered
