Did she think she'd get away with the paintball gun accident story? I'm confused as to why that was a viable option to tell police.

He actually can't say that right now. The church is still choked with a conservative element that will pillory him if he goes too far to the left. In terms of being a catholic, what he is saying is revolutionary and the rest will have to follow. The most important thing he talked about is avoiding ideological

It's reasonable to have the "it won't happen to me" assumption under many circumstances. Like, I walk my dog at night and I could get mugged or shot at, but it's unlikely and I assume it won't. And you should let your children out to play unsupervised, because you can't expect that something awful will happen to them

It's not "The Criminals" getting kids killed or shooting up schools. As far as I'm concerned, they can have their guns. It's the regular citizens that I'm worried about.

This is huge. Really. It's an acknowledgement of the modern world. For all his flaws, this is the first pope we have that seems to have advanced beyond the fifteenth century. Bravo.

Or you could tell her that it is where you keep your gun locked up and that guns are for killing and you own that gun for shooting people dead. And that dead people are dead forever. Then you could teach her some actual gun safety in case she ever stumbles across your firearm.

Just riffing here.

You know whose opinion on this topic I give zero fucks about? Yours.

I feel like the answer here is that people don't want to use gun safes or gun locks is because they think having a loaded gun around is for home protection and having to remove a gun from a safe or unlock and load the gun reduces the home protection aspect of having a gun in the house. Personally I think they're wrong

I guess pray for the five year old who will carry this absolutely horrific tragedy with him for the rest of his life.

"The state will assemble a child fatality review board to determine whether the parents should be charged with a crime."

Whenever this happens* I always think about the kid who pulled the trigger. How do you deal with that as you grow older? (Or in the immediate aftermath AND as you grow older for older children.)

No reports have explained how or why the 5-year-old shot his sibling

We bought a bio-locking safe for the gun I keep for home defense. It can only be opened with my fingerprint. Hopefully, my kid will never even see the safe. But if she does, I'm going to tell her that it's a trap for the souls of little children to be transported to the Containment Unit, where they don't get any toys

I agree. We could argue up and down all day as to whether or not you ought to have a gun or not, or whatever, but the truth is that people do. And they should be locked up no matter what. If you have a gun, make a plan for getting it out quickly to do its job. Not for your kids to shoot themselves, each other, or you

I just can't even with this shit anymore. When the fuck is this country going to wake up? I am so sick and tired of this story.

This is horrible and should never happen. I just don't get it. Put your guns away, people!!!

Two things:

IT'S SO JARRING. And their expressions are all this weird combination of bored/devious/come-hither. The only thought process that could reasonably lead to that look is "Welp, nothin' to do tonight, guess I'll fuck this random guy then steal his wallet when he passes out."

This is a red headed toddler from her tumblr. After picture is a mischievous two year old with a toy dog. Before picture is a two year old prostitute.

The made under dolls are ok, but they're never gonna qualify for the regional Pro-Ams.
