I used to be vehemently pro-life as a kid. Then I grew up and studied biology.

That’s because there’s nothing wrong with it, as it’s a pole with no consequences.

This is why I wonder how people call this the “Christian” thing to do.

Oh yeah. My fiance is a teacher and he adores kids, but can’t have them himself. Adoption is definitely on the plate. There are so many kids that need loving homes and I feel we could give that to them. Just need to get settled and stable first.

He doesn’t even understand how canine pack structures or men work.

I completely support people who don’t want to become parents. It should be your choice. I love kids and wouldn’t mind adopting though.

I’m not even sure if I can have kids. My mother had major infertility issues.

She has to be receiving mental health treatment.

I’ve recently decided that I don’t want kids. I was born with a pretty serious birth defect that resulted in congestive heart failure and I’ve had a slew of other problems that have made life difficult and painful for me. I’m not sure if I’d want to force that on anyone else.

Wait a minute. Isn’t that covered in patient privacy laws?

I don’t want to think about what that poor kid is going to go through.

Sometimes the idea that you are the only one responsible for your actions and survival is kind of scary. Sometimes the best way to deal with that is to laugh at it communally. This is what social media is for.

When I had a job, I would try to pay for anything that I could. I quit to focus on job training, and my parents have graciously supported me through it all. I’ve seen coworkers though who aren’t as lucky and struggle to afford even a junker of a car to get them back and forth to work.
