Yes, parading yourself in front of a thousand cameras on a red carpet is asking for it and that is exactly right, we will talk about how stupid she looks.

There is a reason these people enter on a flood lit red carpet instead of through the kitchen in the alleyway. They want to show everyone how amazing they look and have their picture taken and be talked about. If you are going to operate on pure vanity then you better make sure you can back it up.
