Natasha Leggero and Rikki Lindhome should get more love for creating, starring in, and show-running Another Period

Interesting list, and I absolutely love any time Jeffrey Wright gets the credit he deserves, as that man is fantastic both on- and off-screen.

Or Bob Odenkirk for that matter?

How is Vince Gilligan not here though?

She really does embody Laurie from the comics very well.

I love that in the same way last week’s episode took a jab at Snyder’s trademark ultra violence, this week took a swipe at Alan Moore’s casual sexism in the original comic by introducing a Laurie who’s pretty pissed-off at the way she was used in that story. As someone who adores Promethea, Moore has not always been

As a huge ‘Watchmen’ fan, this episode was THE GREATEST. And yet I dislike the approach of this review. It leans way too much on prior knowledge of the comic instead of addressing what’s actually onscreen.

Jeremy’s having fun because they’re paying him lots of money to basically be himself. I’m pretty sure all of what he’s been doing in all of these episodes is what he does everyday. Especially the riding around his English estate on a white horse and eating dinner naked.

Anyone else think that Regina King, Jean Smart and Don Johnson will all have shiny new Emmy awards next September?

Damn, Jean Smart just came in and owned every scene like a total boss. Who knew this is where she would end up at this stage of her career?

Seriously, Joelle – this is the best review I’ve seen written in a long, long time. Thoughtful, provocative, going beyond the text to analyze the hypertext and making us readers aware of it. I can’t wait to read more of what you have in store for us.

reading the peteypedia and in the news clipping about Judd’s death they note that his grandfather had a “storied” 55 year long career in the Tulsa Police department... given their adherence to history w/ regards to the Tulsa Massacre the logical conclusion is that Judd’s grandfather actually took part in the massacre,

Those Moth Paparazzi was something straight out of BoJack Horseman and a clever nod to Moth Man and possible introduction to a new one in future ones.

Hot take: I really, really like this show.

Respectfully going to have to disagree. Beginning a series with an over looked massacre, examining how reparations would impact the culture, and casting a 48 year old Black woman as your super hero lead is bold.

By night he’s secretly the superhero known as Hamsterdamman.

It’s such a great little detail that they got Cheyenne to play the Hooded Justice in Ryan Murphy’s superhero biopic. As someone who read Watchmen years ago, and currently watches American Horror Story, it’s such a weird, fun mindfuck to see a Ryan Murphy “American ____ Story” biopic show about historical events that

I don’t know where beloved Av Club commenter Hooded Justice is today, but I expect he’s happy.

Okay, somebody had to post it.  Might as well be the blue guy.

Bunny Colvin relocated to Tulsa.
