Buster and Lucille are separated for most episodes and I think that might be part of the reason why. I hope they get more scenes together later in the season!

I’m kinda upset that they insinuate that Serena Joy can’t have children because she was shot. In a world where we’ve already established it is difficult for people to conceive - and, as is my understanding, her husband is likely to be the infertile one - why is it necessary to have this happen to her at all? We

There was a sex scene between them in the original script, where he described it as “beautiful.”

Ooh I would love if she covered The Baxter! It’s underrated and definitely not as well-known but it’s great. (It’s also where I got my username)

It really says a lot about how things have changed since the ‘90s, I think. Even back then, 28 wasn’t THAT old to be unmarried, but I’d say nowadays it’s considered normal to wait until your mid-thirties to marry and settle down. Also, the fact that at 28 Julia Roberts is some big-time food critic seems totally

They finished shooting last summer, so I think it was already too late by then. Not 100% though.

I feel especially gutted after watching this episode. I suppose I should have expected that June would be caught and brought back to Gilead - but silly me, I thought maybe she’d make it and the rest of the show would be about her trying to find a way to get her daughter back or something. Are they going to chain her

Yeah dude, I’m not dying on this hill. I enjoyed it but it didn’t change my life. Being condescending isn’t gonna change my mind about that either.

Yeah I am sure they’ll write that part out, even though it’s an important part in the plot.

Say what you will about it, but an important clue in the book has to do with the Zork computer game series, and that just fills my heart w/ glee tbh. I liked the book - it isn’t Shakespeare, but the story is a decent hero’s journey kinda deal - and I don’t understand why the backlash is so severe.

Uhhh she says in the review that they’re going to stop covering this show. And there are dozens of us that enjoy this show. Dozens!

Yeah I am very confused as to why know one has talked about it because this was the most interesting thing in the whole episode IMO. He clearly has hang-ups about sex due to what he witnessed as a young child, but has that manifested into some sort of sex addiction? Is he so ashamed of what he’s doing that he goes on

No one’s talking about Duc’s one-night-stand montage?? And how weird it is that he insists he’s celibate but clearly has a sex problem?

Irish names are crazy. I remember how much it blew my mind that Ralph Fiennes’ name is pronounced “Rafe”

YES we need community grades again. I miss what AV Club used to be :(

I enjoyed it, although this review did hit the nail on the head on some of the dialogue issues. And I feel like the teenage girl character is a little too much like Claire Fisher from SFU. Regardless, I’m kind of excited to see where it goes.

I devoured the German Netflix show Dark, and I highly recommend it! It’s a perfect combo of dark European crime drama and scifi time-travel crazy. I can’t wait for more!

I’ve seen a lot of these movies w/ my parents. Parenthood continues to be one of my fave movies and I’ve seen it w/ my fam many times. Being the youngest, they were pretty lax w/ me - Rocky Horror Picture Show was one of my favorite movies when I was 5. My parents recall a time that they had people over and I was

They’re probably about the same height!

I think she proved she has pretty good comedic timing w/ her role in Another Period, so I’m hoping this show is good and becomes a hit. I also love Mae Whitman and Retta so I’m in for sure.
