My God, I love this show. I wish more people were watching it!

It got a lot of bad reviews around here and other places I've seen. The most common seems to be the "inauthentic" route - from the pilot, specifically, there was some cheesy dialogue. For example: "I thought drugs were for peace and love types" "I guess Altamont changed that."

I've thought about it, and I still don't see it happening. Mostly because Jimmy is not motivated by greed (as exemplified by leaving the cushy Davis and Main gig) or with malice - I can't imagine him screwing over a client just because the client hurt his ego. Pride isn't really a sin of his, unlike his brother. The

While, yes, I am sure Jimmy DID steal money from the register of his poor father - his poor father was a sucker who was getting scammed by MANY people, it was already established, and young Jimmy even tried to tell him! It is entirely possible that a good portion (but not all) of the money Chuck attributed to being

OMG please make this happen

I just don't see Jimmy scamming old people, ever, in any capacity. Every time we've seen him run a "scam" IRL in the present-day, it's been on an able-bodied person, usually someone who seemed very rich and very douchey ie KenWins.

Chuck actually reminds me more of Walt than Jimmy does. Both characters have hubris/pride as a major flaw. Both are totally meticulous in how they do things, and manipulative.

Oh, I bought it. I was a lot like Tina as a preteen - I didn't have porcelain horses, I think they were plastic, but w/e - and I read the American Girl books and loved them. My parents got me my favorite American Girl doll and I was super thrilled!

LOL not just this show - practically every show!

I will never forget Weigert from Angels in America. Although she's credited as "Mormon Lady" or w/e, her scene was amazing, gave me real chills, and I remember thinking how amazing she was in it. Then I saw Big Little Lies and I was like HOLY CRAP, there she is!!! I'm definitely going to have to check out Deadwood now.

What if she does go for it - and it just makes her age a lot and forget her whole life/Kevin? IDK I'm just throwing out a theory. I doubt that's what really happens but who knows!

Agreed - and I really like Nora, and am generally lukewarm about Tommy.

Yep! She was so good.

Justin's gunning for that Emmy!

Toy Box was not good - and it didn't really give her room to show off her vocals.

If you don't like Baz Luhrmann, you probably won't like it. But if you like him and love hip hop, it's definitely worth watching. The young cast is full of talent - yes, even Jaden Smith is really good in his role.

For the record, I actually like this movie, probably from childhood nostaglia more than anything else - but I could always buy that LL Cool J was Gambon's son. That made some sense to me, that his character could be biracial.

My fiance still insists that Pulp Fiction is Tarantino's best work. I would counter that it would be depressing as hell to have some of your earliest work as an artist be considered your "best" - and also, um hello, nope, his best work is Inglorious Basterds.

I saw literally all three of these movies in the theater and totally didn't remember doing so until reading your comments. Yeesh!
