X3's Jean (no fault of Famke Janssen, she did what she could with a terrible script) was insanely bad. The Jean Grey character always seems to be a character that has other characters’ desires projected on her (Scott Summers, Logan, Phoenix), but she especially lacked agency in X3. Hopefully she gets a little better…

I think a lot of professional musicians who have full road crews don’t tune their own guitars, especially before shows. It doesn’t mean they can’t; they just have other people whose job it is to make sure everything is in tune. That was what I got out of that statement.
