That’s really the only way to interpret his timing comment.  He’s going to spent a lot of time undoing what Trump did over four years and has already moved more left that is his wont.  He’s going to play the long game.

It’s all very “protests too much” - doesn’t seem like anyone’s scrambling to find Prince Charles’ black friend to interview. Which, maybe that’s because there’s literally no one they could get to say nice things about Charles, but this scramble doesn’t reflect well.

This is conservatives writ large. They oppose social programs and then enjoy the benefits to society that such programs provide without acknowledging where those benefits are coming from . They “vote no and take the dough,” as Pelosi so eloquently put it.

Of course the rich kids are alright.  They have the resources to leave the country if things keep getting worse.  They’ll go to Europe, convert to Euros and be right back to their shallow ways in no time.
