Yeah, based off own anecdotal observations, seems like Bernie supporters very much didn’t understand how much people didn’t like him. It seems you either love him or hate him, not a lot in between, and unfortunately for him, there are a lot more people in the second category.

Sanders supporters probably should have thought a little bit harder on whether supporting the guy that Democratic women probably still harbor a great deal of resentment toward for 2016 might have unintended (if easily predictable) consequences.

I wonder if it has anything to do with the way the Bernie bros have been treating women online (particularly supporters of Warren). And Bernie himself not shooting his bros down.

Since Bernie Sanders supporters don’t vote, it’s not clear why they matter at all, in terms of political power.   Lots of complaining and no voting.

Bernie wins twitter primary everytime. Social media organizing does squat and African Americans truly only get behind people that they know unless it’s a once in a lifetime candidate like Obama is what I learned. And African Americans vote every single time. They show up. If you saw the clip of the two Biden voters

I watched Biden’s speech last night in the mostly empty room, and I didn’t see a man suffering from early signs of dementia at all, contrary to what Trump and/or the BernieBros would like you to believe.

To quote the defining adage of our current times: Young People Tweet, Old People Vote.

The Root’s coverage of anything related to the election is always far superior because Jezebel writers can’t even pretend to hide their bias and try to be objective, or look at things with a perspective different from their largely NYC life. It does often make for some comical reading though because the writer usually

Seriously. He handled it exactly how he should have to relate to the people he needs to vote for him. This was a clear win. The author is mad about that, so she wrote a disingenuous article intentionally misreading the circumstances.

Please explain to me what better” option Warren would’ve used in this situation. Talk at him explaining her actual policy on the matter? Sorry, Warren’s now just a woman nagging a man about guns.

Agreed. This is a nothing burger. How is this supposed to make Biden look bad or anti-union or anti-automaker? The guy was looking for an ambush ala ‘Joe the Plumber’ and instead was told he was full of shit. If it was Bernie I’d applaud it. It was Biden and I applaud it. It’s past time these misinformed people out

I’m not exactly a Biden fan, but I have no idea how Biden telling off an asshole amounts to “anti-union.” Just because someone happens to be a member of an organization doesn’t mean they get a pass on everything they say or believe just because you support the organization.

I can't help it--I find it endearing, and think it will end up energizing the base (?)

What exactly has this got to do with the unions or unionisation or somehow a gotcha that Biden hates unions (a pro-Bernie routine I’ve seen a couple times in the last few days now)? Some dickhead decided to go full NRA and refreshingly (even if politically motivated) a politician actually told the bloody truth on the

What did you expect. This is the same Oprah that legitimized Jenny McCarthy as a spokesperson for the anti-vac side.

I don’t know if American Dirt is a good book or a bad book. But it is a kind of on-brand exploitation by Oprah to promote the book (which is a calculated business decision and not a statement of mere personal preference) without considering the implications of a white/Puerto Rican author’s novelization of Mexican

This is the first time something on the Takeout pissed me off. I live in NORTH DA-FUCKING-KOTA. It doesn’t get more Midwest than that. I’m sorry our culture is third world to you. But you’re gonna receive the brunt of my “fuck you”. I’m so sorry we exist at all. I live in Grand Forks. Yeah, the Grand Forks that

NYC-born, NYC/DC raised person who moved to Western Wisconin in her 30's - an area of the state that one of my friends described as “The Wisconsiniest Part of Wisconin” - and then jumped the St. Croix to the Twin Cities. I’ve been up here over 15 years now.

He is 100% bluffing here because he believes Hunter won’t take the bet. There is no chance in hell he’s opening up his books to anyone and he knows nobody who votes for Trump will dock him one single point for going back on this promise if it comes to that.

I also feel like Donnie Jr. would also be that guy who would say, “I said I’d release mine if he released his 100%. He didn’t include his home address or social security number, so he didn’t follow the rules. I’m not releasing ANYTHING”
