Savannah is great, too. Plus, Georgia has places like St. Simons Island. (It does help, however, if you like college footfall—which I do.)

I grew up in Florida (born and raised), and I second this. It was 80 degrees whan I was home at Christmas this year. It’s almost always sunny all winter.

Nequam, is yours THE HANDMAID’S TALE?

Oh, my gosh. I thought I was the only one who does this. It all started with George W. Bush. And now I do it on the regular.

My parents are both in this demographic, and even they don’t watch this crap. They pretty much stick to sports (and sometimes Jeopardy!).

That hair alone is criminal.

My friend, who lives on a Spanish Island, has been sending pics of almond trees in bloom. So pretty! And so much blue sky.

Didn’t love the movie, but the book...AMAZING. Love Ian McEwan in general.

Aww, the munchkin is back. :)

You’re so young. Don’t stress. Life works out for most people. Maybe not always the way you planned, but it works out. I’m in my mid-4os (still single, but you can’t force things). I changed careers a few years ago to become a teacher. Hardest thing I’ve ever done—and not 100% successful—but I faced many of my fears,

Agree. Flowers for Algernon was life-changing.

I had Julie of the Wolves, too. Also, even younger, I loved the Nancy Drew books. Nancy was unstoppable.

The It Works thing drives me batty. And Origami Owl. No, I don’t need your crappy jewelry.

I made guacamole twice this week. I eat it with potato chips because I am a heathen.

I buy lots of individual songs, but the last full album? The Weeknd.

And he had a movie/kitten named after him. Perfect, right?

Ever since bedbugs became a thing, I’m terrified of street-found furniture.

I’ve had mine for about 15 years. Granted, it’s a sofa bed (thus solidly framed), but IKEA has done me right in this department. The couch would still be in fantastic shape had not my newest cat decided he likes to claw at it. Bummer.

I use that non-slide stuff that normally goes under rugs. Does the trick to keep my couch cushions in place.

Call me crazy, but I love this lavender number.
