Do it. I have had no side effects from mine (been on it a few yrs), if that makes you feel any better. I don’t know if it really helps, but I have less suicidal ideation, so that’s good. I still have trouble dealing with life—in all aspects—but I least I won’t break my parents’ and friends’ hearts.

{Big hug} I wish there was more we could do to comfort you, but I’m glad you can at least unload here a bit. Wishing you well, hockygrrl.

I always think it will be the day I have a real bed. Not just mattress and box spring, but something with an actual headboard.

I wonder if anyone ever takes an apple. I would take an apple.

I don’t know what to say except hang in there. May 2017 be better for you.

I need a new teaching job. I really just want to do my part to make the world a better place. Fingers crossed for me (and everyone else for that matter) in 2017.

NYC is the same. :(

Taking free shit is how white collar people stay white collar—or so I’ve heard.

I got to speak at (8th grade) graduation. And even though I’d already lost my job (a.k.a. not had my contract renewed), I KILLED IT. I did right by my kids, whom I loved dearly. I hope they’re all kicking butt in high school so far.

If it involves any kind of bathing suits, I’m out. Maybe it’s that?

The OA is typical Brit Marling, if that helps you at all. I happen to be a fan of here existential oddities, but not everyone is.

I binged The Fall, Black Mirror, Stranger Things, The OA, and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmitt.

Loved Rogue One. I don’t see how any Star Wars fan wouldn’t.

I got my sister-in-law some Bliss Spa products for Christmas. I hope she likes using them. Mostly, I just wanted something to put in the really cute bag I found for her.

I liked Season 2 of “True Detective,” but I had to watch it with the closed captioning turned on—in addition to doing a lot of internet reading—to really follow the story (and how everything and everybody was connected). Without that, I’d have been lost.

One of my favorite exhibits in Washington D.C.’s “Newseum” (museum of news) is the Pulitzer Prizewinners’ gallery. I highly recommend.

I really like “Atlanta.”

Has she met Prince? Lol

“Teen Wolf” is a surprisingly great show. And I’m an Old, too.

Samsies in NYC, but I leave for FL in 3 days. Yay!
