I don’t understand your response. My point was simply that there are innocent people and innocent gyms pictured with Steve Penny. The Jezebel article is fair in its criticism of Penny and of USA Gymastics itself, of which Penny is the head, but why drag innocents into the fray? That’s all I was saying.
I swear I’m not being an apologist. I just think being tangentially linked to child molestation/predation (by way of an image under an incendiary headline) is unfair to the innocent men, women, and gyms pictured.

As a Southerner (born in the 70s), I have to say the the “racist South” is the South that gets the most attention, airplay, and ink, but we normal people were raised in regular families without all the drama and bs. We just get overlooked because we’re not a good story.
