Who wears dark undies under white shorts? Only men.

I don’t understand your response. My point was simply that there are innocent people and innocent gyms pictured with Steve Penny. The Jezebel article is fair in its criticism of Penny and of USA Gymastics itself, of which Penny is the head, but why drag innocents into the fray? That’s all I was saying.

I swear I’m not being an apologist. I just think being tangentially linked to child molestation/predation (by way of an image under an incendiary headline) is unfair to the innocent men, women, and gyms pictured.

I wish Jezebel would’ve chosen a photo of Steve Penny is isolation. Just by proximity to the topic & headline, the photo makes all of those coaches pictured appear guilty, when they are not. Same goes for the gyms appearing in the banners hanging behind him—most from my home state. As a former elite gymnast, I am

Bonnie Raitt, Tina Turner, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Nicks, Annie Lennox, Joni Mitchell, Dione Warwick, Cyndi Lauper, Nina Simone (during her lifetime).

Yeah, but would you really ask them about their potential wig situation? Especially if you weren’t intimate friends? Wouldn’t that just be rude?

I’m so glad someone asked because I didn’t even know what to look up online. I thought something “lace front” must be some sort of clothing. And then I couldn’t figure our how their tops didn’t look the same (or, you know, lacy). Hmphf!

Side note: Reading “Baby_Jormp_Jomp” just makes me smile. I laugh along lovingly when you write it. So thank you. :)

re: Chris Noth/Jason Patric

I doubt his balls exist. After all, he’s a known moral coward.

I want to star this, like, a thousand times.

Why would the Secret Service be protecting Kellyanne Conway? Answer: They wouldn’t.

Nah, she’d live in denial (of course).

Except that Greenstreet had a jolly face, whereas Ailes decidedly does not.

I just finished reading Gore Vidal’s BURR, and it reminded my that during the Revolutionary War, the South (and its booming agrarian economy) bascially bankrolled the Colonies’ defeat of the English Crown (with, of course, a shitload of help from the French). So the successful Southern economy was not just a boon to

Wow, you are painting with a VERY broad brush. I and many of my friends and family are Southerners and nearly all of us voted for Hillary.

Hmm...that’s not been my experience. Were you educated in the South? I only ask because in my schools (kindergarten, elementary, middle school, high school, college) it was pounded into our heads that the South was indeed the bad guy—to the point where I still feel an enormous amount of guilt even though I’m a

As a Southerner (born in the 70s), I have to say the the “racist South” is the South that gets the most attention, airplay, and ink, but we normal people were raised in regular families without all the drama and bs. We just get overlooked because we’re not a good story.

I was sure you were going to cut to Nate Parker at the end. Alas...
