Good. Nobody should want Rio Tinto burrowing in their backyard. The locals are right to continue protesting. The big fat lithium deposit is too much of a temptation for any ambitious politician. Rio Tinto itself may in all likelihood just go over the border and start digging in Republika Srpska instead.

Don’t think there’s going to be another 3-door, manual.

If it’s friday, and I’m in the last quarter, sometimes even the last third, and I know I plan to drive over the weekend I’ll fill up then. Otherwise, last 1/8, well actually... I start thinking about filling up whenever the computer says I have less than 70 or 80 kilometers range, if there’s a line at a local gas

Combat parking...” The hell? What does this guy call a lane change, tactial manouver?

Because both expensive watches and fancy cars are effective status signifiers. Car enthusiasm is a magnet for image conscious, status obsessed dashboard fondlers.

Suppose there’s no use hoping for a farewell limited edition, “let’s-see-how-just-far-we-can-tune-the-0.9” version...

That’s where Toyota’s strategy is wrong. Personal vehicles are the end point of development for FCEV infrastructure, not the driver for its construction. If we’re serious about reducing carbon emissions, that means all the diesel powered vehicle used in freight, shipping, construction industry etc will also have to

Marketing? A garden shed doesn’t require plush furniture, fancy light fixtures, rugs or throw pillows... But now it’s she shed!?

I think you might be overstating the case and under appreciating human ingenuity. The show itself makes a good argument that opposite is true and ancestral skills are for the most part adaptable to the environment.

Thanks, I was dreading the possibility of having to make up my own mind about something, but now with the helpful input of randos on the internet I don’t have to!

Here I was, not thinking about Janez Janša and now you had to go and remind me of that asshole. I’m sure idualliance is a reference to something, but I’m not about to bother looking to find out. Goddamn is he embarrassing. What the fucking fuck is he thinking? America will go into an alliance with an irrelevant small

He should’ve been savvier than to say it outright. American audiences are so accustomed to seeing their concerns highlighted by international organizations they apparently don’t even appreciate how genuinely strange state of affairs that is.

Relinquish it in exchange for what, super honest pinky swear promise that the US wouldn’t try and overthrow him?

Congratulations to  Mr. Vespucci.

Seems to me like the guns didn’t do much good, if the capital still wound up aflame.
