This is how a few asshats can ruin it for everyone. Electronics in cars make it infinitely easy to set limitations on speed, acceleration etc. If not the government, the companies themselves could could be doing it.
We had a nice kenmore elite front loader for a long time, but it was always difficult to keep clean. We recently got a top loading version like yours without the agitator and it’s been awesome. Much less maintenance.

I disagree with bettere. Cloud storage and security are not mutually exclusive. Having completely reliable data storage requires offsite (cloud), in addition to local backup.
