Can we have Al Franken as her running mate?

It would be easier to find a democratic replacement for her in the Senate than it would be to find a better Democratic Presidential candidate.

Yea, “she was warned, but nevertheless she persisted” is a one-like history of women’s rights and civil rights movements.

She is the only person I think who can truly unite the Bernie people, with her laser-like focus on wealth inequality, and Hillary people, with her intersectional views on social issues.

I personally know many women who will respond to those words in the larger sense as well: all the women who’ve been “warned” about speaking out. Or simply speaking. (Or frankly, for existing). 

We’ll just need to elect more like her.

Invoking rule 19 is completely insane for a confirmation hearing. But even putting that aside for a second, how is reading a letter from Coretta Scott King impugning his character? Like, how?

If she didn’t want the job before, seeing the consequences of a Trump presidency has changed her mind. Too bad Booker isn’t from a swing state or we’d have the ticket right there.

I’ve had a few friends who worked while their husbands stayed home with the kids. In every case, the woman still did pretty much everything — the cooking, the cleaning, the laundry, all the childcare when she wasn’t at work.
