I don’t have a problem with her criticizing single-payer, really. I actually think there’s a strong case to be made that a public-private health care system can work better (lots of countries have them and they seem to do pretty well).

No, the Dems caved to GOP opposition and that’s why we don’t have single-payer healthcare. The Dems kept trying to get the GOP on board, and it never worked, and only hampers the reforms’ effectiveness.

You’re not wrong, but that doesn’t completely excuse Clinton’s attack. The truth is that neither candidate will be able to sign a health care reform bill with a GOP Congress. That said, candidates owe it to voters to explain what they would like to do if the Democrats did command the majority. Sanders says he supports

Don’t forget: In 2008, Obama criticized Clinton for proposing a health insurance mandate. Every liberal health care expert in the country knew his plan wasn’t workable. She isn’t the only one who made dumb attacks.

This is a really stupid line of attack, and I say that as someone who generally likes Clinton. It reminds me of that time in 2008 when Obama attacked Clinton’s health care plan, saying the individual mandate would force people to buy insurance they couldn’t afford.

I feel like Guantanamo should mostly fall under the “obstructive Congress” category. He’s issued numerous orders to shutter the facility, but wasn’t able to make further progress when Congress refused to fund inmate transfers. And even Democrats backstabbed him on that one.

I’ve always kind of regretted my decision to trade in my original 3DS for a New 3DS XL. The I found the new XL to be uncomfortable to hold (waaaay too slippery) and poorly built (that back plate is too far thin and doesn’t fit the system properly). I wonder if the regular-sized New 3DS would be any better? Anyone own

Man here. No boss has ever told me that I’m too aggressive. I guess that makes your statistic wrong.

This too.

...Yes, you just said that.

Hillary Clinton is perfectly capable of speaking to the public. Just because she doesn’t have Bill’s personality doesn’t mean she’s a bad speaker.

Bill Clinton is proof that you can get away with any number of transgressions as long as you have charisma. But God forbid you ever appear awkward in public...

I’m also on team whoever-Dems-nominate. I would just be very surprised if the majority of voters in this country would actually turn out for someone who identifies (and will be strongly labeled as) a socialist.

I want to see what those polls look like after the Republicans start attacking Sanders. Apart from the occasional Trump comment, they’ve left him alone, focusing all their fire on Clinton.

*pats head*

You didn’t mention one of the more baffling proposals in the plan: phasing out nuclear power. If your goal is to reduce carbon emissions, this makes no sense.

Maybe I’m seeing things, but it looks like the top screen of your 3DS is off-center. In the first picture, doesn’t it look like the black border on the left is a bit larger than on the right? Mine is the same way, and I was wondering if it was true for anyone else.

Dubya at least has people skills to make up for every other deficiency. Jeb is just awkward on top of everything else.

I feel like a lot of people around here like to beat up on the Globe. But I still think it’s so much better than so many other papers covering metro areas of a comparable size.

Lifelong Massachusetts resident here. I didn’t find them bad at all. Much more muted than what Hollywood usually goes for.
