My mom died somewhat suddenly on June 30 and we’re all still reeling a bit. This feels like the final bit of awful, that she won’t be able to vote for a woman president after 70 years on this earth. She so enjoyed voting for Obama.

I have a larger, stand-alone engagement ring as well. I don’t wear it all the time now that I’m married, and when I do wear it I wear it on my right hand and keep my wedding band on my left. I say get a wedding band that is just what you want, and wear the engagement ring on the right hand!

I thought d’onofrio’s performance of Fisk was amazing, even though I had high expectations for him. The storyline with the woman at the museum! The watch! His facial expressions! And yet they don’t go overboard with the wardrobe or strength like they could have.

I confess I always thought of him as a bit goofy looking. He really plays evil here though, his eyes especially are filled with anger.

Agreed. While I thought both shows were a bit too gruesome I appreciated the subtlety of the villains and their stories.

Well, he was obsessed even before that- the combination of her strength and vulnerability. Of course, all women have that, hers is just up to 11. Or possibly higher.

I KNOW. She must be really goodbar acting. Her overwhelming annoying mess distracted me from the creepiness of her dialogue on several occasions.

Women and girls are taught- from birth, practically, that men are unable to control themselves around some women. We’re taught if we didn't do this thing or did do this thing then we wouldn't have been a victim.

My husband and I would be glad to share a (long, extended) vacation with her and help her find a nice nerdy tech guy who doesn’t care about how much money she makes as long as she’ll play board games with him. Or we will just live with her, NBD. 😉
