I’m ashamed to admit this, but I used to watch it all the time as a kid. I don’t even remember enjoying it all that much. I actually remember kind of getting bummed out by watching the movie. I think it was mostly because we had a copy of it and not E.T. for the longest time, so it was all I had.

I still think Venom without Spider-Man is weird. And kinda dumb.

If anything, Marvel could sue the developers of Prototype. All of those things have been trademark Venom for 20 odd years before that game came out.

Prototype was basically an unlicensed Venom game.

Those visuals existed in the Venom/symbiote world well before Protoype came about. 

I keep checking out these trailers because a part of me wants this movie to be good.
